Agreement
These terms apply to your use of the SnoreSense app, its Apple Watch companion and widgets, and this website. By downloading or using SnoreSense you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
App license
The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), unless a different license appears in the App Store listing. These terms add detail specific to SnoreSense; if they conflict with the EULA, the EULA controls as between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for SnoreSense or for supporting it.
Not medical advice
SnoreSense is a personal wellness and trend tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose sleep apnea or any other condition, measure an apnea-hypopnea index, recommend treatment, or replace a clinical evaluation. See Health & safety.
Observations may be incomplete or wrong. Room noise, microphone placement, interruptions, pets, and other people can all affect results. A score is an observation drawn from available recording data, not a medical measurement. Don't make health decisions — or delay seeking care — based on the app. If you have a concern, talk to a qualified healthcare professional; in an emergency, contact emergency services.
Recording responsibly
Only record where you're allowed to and comply with recording and privacy laws that apply to you. Get appropriate permission from anyone who may be recorded. You are responsible for what you choose to keep and share. SnoreSense can't reliably identify which person made a sound in a shared room.
Features and availability
Features depend on your device, operating system version, permissions, available Health data, storage choices, and app version. SnoreSense requires iOS 27 or later; the Watch companion requires watchOS 27 or later. Watch microphone recording and automatic cloud sync are not available in the current release. Recordings can have gaps — check recording coverage in each report. Keep copies of any exports you need: the app shouldn't be your only archive.
Pro purchases and subscriptions
Some extended features require an in-app purchase. Before you confirm, the app and Apple's purchase sheet show the features, local price, billing period, and any introductory offer. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal, under Apple's terms. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription, and canceling doesn't delete your data.
- Restore purchases in the app with the Apple account that made them.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Prices or descriptions on this website never override what Apple shows at purchase. Your nightly report and data exports stay free.
Your data and content
Your recordings, notes, and observations belong to you. They're stored on your device, and we don't receive them. The privacy policy explains local storage, optional Health access, sharing, and deletion. Anything you export or share is controlled by whoever receives it.
Acceptable use
Don't use SnoreSense to record people secretly or unlawfully, to harass or monitor someone without their knowledge, or in any way that breaks the law. Don't reverse-engineer, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the app or this website, except where the law expressly permits it.
Intellectual property
The SnoreSense name, logo, app, and website materials are owned by the publisher and protected by law. Screens shown on this website use illustrative sample data. Apple, iPhone, Apple Watch, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Disclaimers
To the extent allowed by law, SnoreSense is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on the app's observations. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Changes and termination
We may update SnoreSense and these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date and, where appropriate, noted in the app. You can stop using SnoreSense at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription separately.
